No electrician, access to real-time home energy data via web or cell, and ability to share data through social networking: the top most desireable features I've heard from participants in previous studies (Intel, Department of Energy) on home energy usage are all there. Looking forward to seeing how this device fares in the growing home energy monitoring space (Wattson, T.E.D., Kill-a-watt, Lifinity, etc.). It would seem that a leader is destined to emerge—likely one that has collaborated closely with a power provider.
